Hey guys... Its been awhile seens anyone post anything on this blog. I am writing now cause I just want to say thank you for such a great time i had back in Singapore. Coming back and seeing that superlife ministry has grown spiritually AND physically( height, size etc.) I hope that God will impact you guys in your life and you guys to bond together as a ministry.

But for now, in a few hours time I will be off again back to Australia. I hope you guys have a blessed half-year and may God continue to bless you guys in whatever you do. I will probably be back in December as school only finishes on the 12 so yea....

Hey guys.... Lets thank god that the swine flu epidemic in Riverlife is finally over. But its not over for me though. When I go back to Singapore, I have to get quarantine. Silver refiner

Hi all,I received this email from a friend and it really teaches us more about God.

Malachi 3:3 says:
'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up.
He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says:
'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.
The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy --when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire,remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Pass this on. This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them.

And, whatever they're going through, they'll be a better person in the end.

Hi people. Its your friend David (cheezels) here. I'm doing fine in Australia and i just came back from my youth camp in Australia. DIGJC... our youth group. I learned many things through the camp. 1st of all, i want to address all the MEGALIFERS. A leader shared that when we are serving in a ministry we are not only part of one service, we are part of the entire church. You will have to go for megalife service. Don't just dedicate to the service you are helping out in. In this case superlife.

I was also surprise when it was sharing time. This guy, he was invited by his younger sister and he actually shared something very personal like he was arrested 4 times and his sister didn't even know. I truly admire his courage. Many came in as non-christians and many went out as christians. It was very touching to see so many people getting touched by the holy spirit.

BTW, for those who don't know... well actually none of you will know, I will be going back to

SINGAPORE this coming JULY!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey people! it's the march holidays!!! whoo!!! And there's gonna be a SENTOSA FUN DAY!

Date: March holiday's Friday 20/3/09

Meeting place: Pasir Ris Mrt middle platform(2nd level)

Time: 9am Please do not be late as we all wanna come to have fun!! =)

We'll set off at about 9.10am then we'll go to vivo for brunch =)

those who are going to be late can make your way there yourself =)

place: siloso beach.
time: approximately from 9am to 4-5pm.

everyone lets bring your own outdoor games like friskbee or something that you have that is fun.

all is invite to come and have fun!

few things to note:
-for the ladies, pls do not wear anything white or light colours, definitely nothing revealing

-for those who may have not enough money to pay for tickets or anything, let me know =)
your coming is more impt=)

-everybody, pls bring extra clothes, a towel, sun block(optional) and personal medication(if any) as we most probably will be wet/dirty/ sandy and everything else.

-anyone that has any ball games that you want to play you can bring it along, nothing too rough as we wanna include everyone =)

To the worship team, Just to keep this blog going, I've decided to post something =)

the worship team at this period, I believe, many of us are going thru major transitions in our lives, people coming and going, life changing events, new places in.

I felt the stirring to say this, that we need more of that desire, the desire to yearn more for God, in the one place we serve in. on that stage, besides serving the children, we are serving God too!

To some of you guys, life may seem alil tough, especially with school, juggling ministries and church, even major exams.

Always remember, NOTHING is impossible with God in which, I-M-Possible! that we can do anything, to praise Him name at the altar!

lets start making a change in SUPERLIFE! the culture in trusting in God! the desperation in which we worship, to jump, to scream, to dance! WOOOOOO! wouldn't that be awesome? to see everyone, worshipping IN SPIRIT and in TRUTH! some of us may feel inward, not really wanting to do them because they may be "embarrassing"? but heres this, we are worship a God that we love So very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very MUCH RIGHT?!?!

so why worry?

lets all rock the house of God! lets make this possible and not just another jumpstart of a wave that dies, but lets all begin using our littles ways, in church, in school, in our families!

God is so moving in Superlife, and lets follow him!!

I've learnt many things in '08 - practical lessons, relational lessons, spiritual lessons.. but one lesson that was really drilled into me in 2008 is this: our relationship with God ought to be based on the solid Word which tells us the truth of who God is and what He has done for us.

I say this because unlike in the previous years of my Christian walk, 2008 saw less of "spiritual highs" and the emotional intensity of feeling God's all-encompassing love. Being an extreme Feeler, the lack of such feelings and emotions in 2008 could easily deceive me into believing that God's presence had left me or that God was less real in my life.. but that's when the knowledge of the Word kicks in. Our understanding of God should be based firmly on what the bible says, which tells us that God is living in us and He's never too far away. To be honest, and I think it's ok to share, I am still in the midst of a dry season.. sometimes I do feel discouraged but it is ultimately my choice to press on and continue to labour for Him, for I know that the God we serve is a faithful and good God.

I thought that it'd be good to share this lesson I had learnt to encourage all of you to be rooted in the Word - which in my opinion is more reliable than our emotional compass that can sometimes be so subjective - so that even after the camp hype or excitement from church events die down, you would remember who God really is and not be easily swayed.

Hey =) Hannah posting. This year God teached me how to trust Him by showing me many things.
My PSLE results were one of them.
Since the start of this year, I been kinda worried about my chinese. Mid year exams pulled me down a lot cause i just passed my chinese. Argh. Yeah. But my mum and dad told me to pray and ask God for help and just leave everything to God. So I tried my best and tried mugging but I didn't suceed.of course. It was hard to believe that God will even answer my prayers cause i thought that I can never ever get any higher than a C or a low B. After a while when my grades didn't have any improvement I told God that I'm just gonna let him do what he wants with me. When my teacher handed me my results she was smiling, so I looked at the score and my eyes was bigggggg. I checked the name just in case they gave me the wrong paper. I wanted to scream but i couldn't so i ended up crying.
My results were way beyond what I expected. My grades were even more surprising. That really made me believe that yes, God does answer prayers.

Tammy not able to enter into Xinmin even after appealing also made me lose faith. I don't know anyone posted to Xinmin and usually Tammy is with me when I go to school, when I come back and everything. So now that I'm starting completely afresh with no friends yet and alone without Tammy, I start to feel kinda worried and afraid. After the appeal results I asked God "why? Why didn't you send Tammy to Xinmin after all our prayers?" On my bed that night I started feeling afraid and lonely. Then I looked at a soft toy on my bed that was staring at me and then God told me "You're never alone. I'm always with you even if no one is." Many people also encouraged me by telling me that it's all part of God's big plan. So I'm gonna put my trust in him and on friday I'm going to Xinmin knowing that God is with me.

I have a prayer request and it's about Tammy's appeal. Tammy is going to TKGS but after 6 months we're gonna try transferring her to Xinmin. Could all of you pray for Tammy? Thanks.

Hey! This year has been a great year for me! Alot of stuff happened!

Alot of stepping up and all!

I'll talk about my mission trip!

Last night as I did my quiet time, God took me back to the mission trip and it felt awesome! such a simple life they live and all..

I miss being with the team! and Pastors and Kids and Adults!!!

Though we had to come back 1 day before the actual date cos almost the whole team fell sick (i was the 1st one to fall sick. haha, It still was a worth it trip!

I've been serving in Superlife and for quite a long time its become just God and myself but wheres the children? During this trip i was asked to play with the Orang Asli kids. At first I thought it would be boring , in the end, I found it fun!!!

One thing there is that, its so hard to communicate.. Anyway , now its easier to interact with kids after the mission trip!

I look forward to going there again! =)

Although i missed out Christmas parties in Singapore, it was a worth it trip! As Christmas is every year, this trip is once in a lifetime! =)

As you read this right now i would want to tell you a piece of news. Some may know this though...

On the 29 January 2009 i would be leaving Singapore and going to Australia to study. Which means i will have to leave the superlife ministry and move on. This may sound shocking but i just wanted to let you guys know before hand so that i won't just disappear and leave you guys... I will really miss you guys and ALL the superlife teachers (ex. Uncle Mike, Auntie Lisa) I will only come back next year December for Holiday.

Hello Tammy here, and it's my first time posting on this blog... haha. Not gonna post only about what I learnt, but also about what God has done for me throughout this year :D

Firstly, wanna thank God for the blessings he have given me this year. He gave me a really funny teacher, who lped me (and my class) results to soar. Soar very high. And he's a christian :)Next, REFLECT CAMP. It was through this camp that i learnt more about ministry and knowing the super hyper cool SUPERLIFE MINISTRY TEAM! Although I've only known you guys for less than a year, you guys have been a great blessing to me! yup! As this year is my last year in primry school :( , I felt God really exposing to me my true friends, those that I can rely on. And, MEGALIFE CAMP! It was really a great, awesome experience for me!!! I felt God's presence throughout the camp and God working in me. It was a huge blessing to me! :D Oh, and becoming a MEGALIFER! haha.
But of course, there were times where I asked God why. One big blast to me was when I recieved my PSLE results. My prelim results was 251.??. Many people told me that PSLE results would usually be higher. So I got really excited, and continued to work hard. When my form teacher handed me my results, he said," One of your scores is higher than your twin ( Me and Becky collected results together. Register no. beside each other :)) I was surprised cause our scores are usually higher than our twins. I was expecting 250+, or at least 240+. I recieved my results, looked at my T-score, walked away, and literally cried. My score was kinda below my expectations. 236. And Hannah, 247. 11 marks difference. (THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. Maybe a few marks but not more than ten) As my mum began to talk to me, I realised that God had a plan for me. He revealed a verse to me.

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Psalms 90:14

God's unfailing love satisfies ALL our needs. Even though it was below my expectations, I knew that I should still praise God for my score. My mum told me this. At least you got above 200! And I wanted to go TKGS. But then again, I had a choice to make. TKGS, XINMIN? I prayed for a few days, asking God for help. Becky is in TKGS, and we're like best friends... I really wanted to go to the same school as her. But I realised Xinmin had more pros than compared to TKGS. So I agreed with my parents to appeal to Xinmin. Hannah's posted there anyway. Results coming out today, by 6pm. PRAY FOR ME YEAH? THANKS LOADS!

I guess what God has taught me this year was to surrender myself and everything to Him and always know that His plans for me are the best.

When i got back my PSLE result and saw my score on my report slip, i felt like crying, i felt like giving up, i felt so discouraged, i felt like that was the end of everything and i felt like God wasn't there at all. I did study and all... I also did pray, and i prayed like this, "Dear God, please let me be able to get into Chung cheng/Tkgs. Amen.". But in the end, all these seemed pointless, all these seemed like i did it all in vain, like as if i was asking a wall to grant me my wish. I didn't understand why God didn't give me what i wanted, it wasn't as if i didn't study or pray. I did all those.

On the first night of the Megalife camp (You), Pastor Gerald said that God has a great destiny for us all, but first of all, we must surrender ourselves to Him, let Him show us our great destiny we have in Him. Pastor Gerald also said that we must just surrender everything to God, our worries, fears, past, present and future. I wanted God to come have His way in me, yet i held back. I was still worrying about which school i'll be going to, still regretting that i've not studied hard enough and all that. I'd been trying not to think about all these because it's seriously depressing (okay, a bit exaggerating but you know what i mean) but i just couldn't help it. I wanted so much to just forget about everything in my own strength. But finally, i realized that it's impossible, there was no way i could do this in my own strength. I've finally came to realize that i need God to help me, so i finally told God that i want to surrender everything to Him and let Him have His way in my life.

For the next few days after camp, i didn't feel so troubled like before anymore. Although yes, i was still like o_o "which school am i going too?", i prayed to God like this, "Lord, let Your will be done, choose the right school for me. Amen.". I felt like the chains that were holding me back from God were let loose. Never Stop Giving with Joy

The joy of giving from me, I believed i was giving out of an empty tank sometimes, doing work seems like a drag and I was starting to take it for grant.
It was until i realised what it has become!
God began to work in my life, my ministry, my world. to teach me to love like never before!
It was a great lesson that I have learnt, to serve the children with all my heart, to give them my smiles and love.

as some of you know, my grandmothers in hospital and she does not know Jesus. One night, she was in critical condition. but when me and my family reached there she was fine.

Den I felt something pass through me when my uncle prayed some funny prayer(not christian) for her.

Den I realise, don't wait till the last minute and than try reaching out. Never know when the person may leave this Earth.
But lets not lead with our own strength but rely on God's strength to reach out! :D
God said somewhere in the bible: you will be brought to the people and it won't us speaking but God speaking through us! :D

My mother said in her school last time they tried reaching out to this guy. and was very very hard. until one day she met him again and they were working in the same place. and she heard that he became a christian and he said that what my mother told him years ago, he actually was moved by the message.

Dun give up!!! :D

Hey guys! I was recently tried to invite a friend to MY HOPE SINGAPORE and instead of getting a simple yes or no or excuse, i was stun and could not reply what he asked me. Here is the question:

"David, why do you keep inviting me to your church you know I would not go. And besides when i say no you will start begging me. You want me go your church, fine. But you must come to my temple for the speacial event we are having. So you still want me to go?"

I was stunned. I tried explainning to him that i was just trying to save him. Then he turned around and use it against me saying I also wan save you what. I was then trapped and had nothing else to say. So the reason I'm writing this is because I am searching for an answer to this question. Please help me.

WWJD? Persevere. But it isn't easy. It's more difficult than accepting the fact that Alonso won and not Lewis Hamilton, or, it's more difficult than studying some Sec 4 Science stuff when you're P6.

I shared with my classmate about Christ from the beginning of the year, till the middle of the year, till a week before PSLE, till after PSLE. I showed her videos, she told me the speakers were awesome. She also said that she could see they were really passionate. But she just refuses to let go of her religion and grab onto Jesus. ~~I gave up~~. There's more than giving up half way, surely.
One day, she'll come, saying that she wants to have a relationship with Jesus, saying that she wants live her life for Jesus, won't she...?

lets meet up at tamp MRT at 9am on the Middle Platform.

Let's continue to strive for excellence in our service to God week on week, regardless of whether the service is a special one, because our God deserves it. And because what we're doing in this ministry is a God-given calling, which we shall not take lightly.

hello!
yeaps, i know its a little weird, but lets pray for this p6 boy in superlife - he got run down by a taxi.
he's Joy's ex-classmate(i think) and the son of one of the staff workers in church.

yea i know its abit irrelevant to pray for someone you dont know, but i really felt very shocked today when i heard about him. immediately after we heard about this, the whole staff team went on their knees to pray for him. i was pretty shocked i guess. so lets pray for this guy, yeap his name is Shuan Li and his leg is fractured, bruise in brain, nose filled with blood and gums injured. he is hospitalised in Changi Hospital, Ward 39, Bed 9. his mother is Aunty Emily. ( latest as of 9:50pm)

and, yea, lets keep their family in prayer.

My personal feel when i saw the article about Mike G was, there was something more to it then just a fraud from a guy who is just greedy for money, and began to question, if it was possible to lie to your own church and to the extend of your own family, and to write and sing the song with such emotions, it was really unthinkable.
To me, i came out with only 2 conclusions
1) He was heal of his disease
2) He was just mentally unsound

humanly speaking, i believe it was impossible to tell a lie to your own family for 2 years.

truth came to light when he share this confession

he was suffering from bondage, that lead to furthur sin in God, but he always believed in God.
he believe that God could take his bondage away, thats why he wrote that song.

i just want to draw one conclusion out of this,
we are all just human, no man is strong enough alone, we need one another.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

We are but ONE Team, there is no one here that is lest important, every single one of your means alot to the team, it is like a huge machine that will not function if one small screw is missing.

so lets stay as one team! to be one Voice, one Movement, and together as One Church, to bring this won victory over! to share this Joy with other!

Let the one without sin cast the first stone

"On August 21, 2008, Michael Guglielmucci, the composer of the track "Healer" a song about his cancer struggle admitted he had lied about ever having cancer in the first place. Allegedly deceiving his church and even his own family. Hillsong will be re-releasing the album with the track "Healer" removed."

What I think about this whole saga ...

I am clearly disappointed. I love the song Healer; we even had such a great time doing this song during band prac just last week.. It kept me going when my grandma was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer back in May. Watching the video in which he shared the song-story really encouraged me back then. Looking at how frail and ill my grandma was, things seemed so hopeless and bleak.. and many times I found myself being unable to believe that God could really heal her. Mike G had the faith (or so I thought) that I didn't, he had faith enough to write these lyrics and say "God, I believe you're my healer, you are all I need, you're more than enough for me". I was completely bought over - encouraged, inspired, and a little ashamed too at my own lack of faith. My point is, despite the way this song was written, it did serve its purpose and has blessed me during that season of my life.

So when I first learnt about this confession, my immediate feelings were betrayal and disappointment. These words ran over and over again in my head - "just what was he thinking!?" - and I got even angrier when I recalled how he even went on stage with an oxygen tank.. That's how it is, isn't it? The higher the position of the spiritual leader (plus a greater need for accountability), the greater the fall and its impact, which also brings down those under him.. Then I was reminded of Jesus and the adulterous woman:

But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"

"No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

Praise Jesus! Praise God, for he stands in between us and condemnation and shields us from all rocks and stones! His grace is so awesome, his crimson blood has washed and made us white as snow. No matter how much debt we may be in cos of all the sins we commit, His blood that covers us gives us a renewed chance to start each new day on a clean sheet, if we only ask for his forgiveness. We are able to stand victorious in His righteousness not because we are able, but because He has given. We cannot earn grace, neither do we deserve it; it can only be given by a gracious God as He.

So here we have in this saga, a sinner just like you and me. I'm not saying we should completely disregard these actions made by a renowned spiritual leader like mike g because having been given such a mandate, he is definitely accountable to the church. I'm just saying... if Jesus - the one who never sinned - didn't condemn the adulterous woman at the mount of olives, what gives any of us a right to do so when we, too, have been sinful in our own ways? Likewise, we've got no business in throwing stones at mike G or hillsong.

The power of the devil is strong. He knows such an incident can shake the church with great magnitude, and I believe the church worldwide has really been affected by this incident.. However, our God is stronger! And instead of allowing the devil to get his way by creating disharmony and disunity in the church, let's support one another and even mike g with prayer to stand firm against the devil's ways. We are after all one family, with Christ as head. Let us be reminded that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (eph6:12). Let us remember that daily we are waging spiritual warfare against the devil, and as part of God's army, we all have a watchman's role in vigiliantly guarding our faith.

the 'same old topic'

We keep talking about revival, revival and revival, and you must be thinking, "the same old topic...." It seems that our lives are all still the same and everything's fine. But, has anyone actually ever wondered what has this world has become? Hatred, sadness, hurt, ignorance, without acceptance? A world without the love of God, without the freedom of God? People are changing, they're becoming worser and worser. But of course I don't mean all. But has anyone ever wondered why is the world becoming worser and worser, day by day? Revival is near. Children will rebel from their parents, people will not submit to their authority, but will we be on fire for Jesus and share with them the gosple so that all these will stop? So that victory will be the Lord's and not satan's? Are we just gonna leave them behind in this world of hatred, sadness, hurt, ignorance, without acceptance, without the love of God, without the freedom of God?
Sometimes, when you read your non-Christian friend's blog, you can just feel the hurt and hatred they have in their hearts. They're different, in some ways, compared to us. I mean, they seem to be hurt and full of hatred most of the time. So they do silly things like slitting, etc to 'take away the hurt/pain'. But it obviously won't work, because only by the love of God can our hurt and hatred be gone. So step out of your comfort zone and take the biggest step of faith to go out and share the gosple with them!

Superlife worship team, let's not be deceived that our gifts and dreams define who we really are. Let's not make our gifts and dreams our security blanket. Where does your security come from? It comes from the Lord, who has promised each and every one of us a GOOD plan. In romans 8:28 it says that God would make all things work for good, for all those who love Him. It doesn't say that all things are good, but all things good AND bad would eventually be combined by God to produce something good out of it.

So let's claim this promise in our lives, shall we? :) That if we are able to get thru the auditions, which is a good thing, we would thank God for it. And if we don't, which may seem like a bad thing in the short run, we will still trust that He will transform this "bad" thing into something good in the long run!

Once again, I wanna emphasize this point: do not make your gifts and dreams your security blanket, instead look to the One who gives these gifts and dreams as your ultimate security.

Let's remember that regardless of our positions as singers, drummers, guitarists etc., our identities will not be found in those roles, but instead our identity will be found thru the love of Christ as children of God. So when we enter the auditions, I pray that we'll enter the auditions with the proper mindset and a heart that says: God! I desire to honour and glorify You more than I desire to be in a CD! Finally, let's just go for the auditions with His peace in our hearts and minds, amen? :) For His ways are higher than our ways - how can we ever understand them? God is in control!

Hi guys! My mum is goin to have an operation this comin Tuesday and i hope u guys can help me pray for her. As you all know, my mom is suffering from a growth in her womb(yes same as Peh's mom but mine less serious). But she still has a chance of leaving me to join God. Pls pray that she will be healed from any kind of suffering as the doctor say even after the op, she would still feel alot pain. Thank You for your concern

i felt that i need to type this,
while having a quiet time with God,he impress something on my heart

In this world, the amount of confusion we face. the rush hour that we are in, in this moment.
in a bustling city, do we take time off to look at God?

i felt that there was more to it then just quiet time, what does quiet time mean? have a one to one time with someone you love, in which this case means God.

God wants our time, with him.

he wants us to look at him, see his glory, feel his awesomeness power, hear the music he play.

question is, are we doing it?

i just wanna say this, that in everyone's life, there is a certain amount of problems in it, i believe it is a significant weight in your hearts that i will never understand, But i'm sure, when we believe and set aside that short period of time for God, he will set aside eternity for you!

God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.

I just felt that it wasn't right to hate my teacher so much. Today while I was listening to this song (Second Chance), the lyrics "On you I throw my life, casting all my fears aside" just made me think.

God gave us a second chance, God was there all along, God was loving us all along. We turned to God whenever we had problems, whenever we wanted stuffs. God listens, God hears. But, what if we weren't Christians? Who would we be able to cast all our cares upon, who would we be able to lean on when we needed a shoulder? Who would we be able to ask when we wanted something so, so, so badly?

Because we don't know who's God, because we're not a Christian, we'd turn to our friends, we'd turn to the people around us. So, think about those non-Christians around you. Although they may piss you off at times, show them some love, show them some care. And when they see that you care and love them, they'll see that there's something different in you, compared to the others. And that something different in you is the love of God. Because they don't know who Jesus is, so YOU tell them who Jesus is. Don't only tell them about the love of Jesus, but show them the love of Jesus.

It's because they've never seen it, that's why they'll never believe it. Like how God has forgiven us, let's forgive those who have sinned against us. But sometimes, it's just very hard, and very tiring. Take for example, your non-christian teacher scolds you for no reason. And what's worse, she's scolding you with discouraging words. She's scolding you when she doesn't even get her facts right. It's really difficult to forgive her, it really is. But I think we all got to make an effort because we've got to sieze every opportunity to shine the light of Jesus.

Sometimes, when you try to show a little love and be concern about your friend, you get misjudged, you get misunderstood and you're being called a busy-body, or maybe even 'desperate to be special in their lives'. But that's just the begining. Do not give up, because, we've got to have that faith. We've got to keep going till we reach our goal. So, even if we're being rejected everytime we try to reach out, continue trying, till we reach our goal, till we see them being saved. TILL WE KNOW FOR SURE, THAT WE'LL SEE THEM IN HEAVEN!

Hello!!! I am so excited to be blogging here :)
I hope your school days have been really kind to all of you!
You know, even though I have only joined this ministry for a short 6 months, you guys make me feel like we're a family!! You guys are such a fun and warm bunch to be with and I enjoy serving alongside all of you every week :) So I just wanna thank every single one of you for being such blessings in my life!

Today I wanna share about something really cool that happened to me! A blog reader of mine whom doesnt know me personally, and neither do I know her at all, decided to add me on msn. She tells me that she reads my blog and sees God in my life and she wants me to pray for her to be a Christian!! So I shared with her the 2 requirements stated in the bible in order to receive Christ and that is to believe in our hearts that we are sinners and that He is indeed our saviour, as well as to confess with our mouths thru the sinner's prayer. So I typed out the sinner's prayer for her so that she can recite it and invite Christ into her life. :)

Isn't our God an amazing God??! That He can even use blogs to reach out to the lost and draw them to Him?? :) I have been tremendously blessed by this girl today! So I just wanna encourage all of you to start reaching out by living our lives for God, and be a testimony for Him! Start reaching out from where God has placed you in, your schools, your families, your neighbourhood.. wherever! Let's begin to reflect God through the way we live our lives so that everyone around you will see God when they see you. :)

For those who may be feeling discouraged because your attempts to share Christ or to invite your friends to church have been futile, I also want to reassure you that your works for God will not be in vain! In John 4:36-37 it says that "The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! 37 You know the saying, ‘One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true." You may not be the one who God has chosen to reap the harvest, but know that your works for Christ are sown in good seeds.

Revival starts not from others but from YOU! :)

I think as a children's ministry we should go and be as close to the kids as possible. We should teach/serve them in a way that we can help them know God instead of just know about God. The only way for us older people to connect with the little ones is to get up close and personal with them, so let's get out there and be their friends!
